Yesterday, my piece Foundry Flux received an honourable mention at Musica Viva 2016!  The piece, which was composed last year, will be played in Portugal – where the competition is run by Miso Music – in 2017. Congratulations to Roberto Palazzolo, who received the only prize with his work Materia, and to Konstantinos Karathanasis, who also received an honourable mention with his piece Ode to Kitchen. I look forward to meeting both composers in Portugal next summer.
