Baltazar’s Adventure through the Great Machine has also been getting around over the past month.

It was played twice on 14th Oct – firstly, at the ICEM/CIME festival 2022, in Krakow, Poland, and secondly, at the Seoul International Computer Music Festival 2022. I was delighted to be able to travel to Poland to diffuse the piece… and equally delighted that my PhD student, Berk Yagli, was able to travel to South Korea, where he performed Baltazar and a piece of his own.

Baltazar is also featuring at Sonic Cartography: soundscape, simulation and re-enactment, The University of Kent, on 29th Oct 2022.
