Last week, I attended NoiseFloor in Lisbon. Although it usually takes place at Staffordshire University, this year it was hosted by the Lisbon School of Music, (Escola Superior de Música de Lisboa). It was a brilliant event – some excellent papers and pieces from start to finish. I enjoyed performing two pieces – To US.S..S… and Unto the Sea. I also delivered a paper based on electroacoustic music and intertextuality.
