New Installation at London Wetlands Centre

As you will have seen in previous posts, I have been running a project based on wetland environments (in the UK and overseas). My album, co-curated with Felipe Otondo, brought together 17 composers who all focused on Sound of the Wetlands. At the same time, though, I have been working on a purpose-built installation to be housed at the London Wetlands Centre. I’m really excited and pleased to share the news that this has now been installed. It’s a simple installation housed in an enormous owl box. A dial on the front enables listeners to hear the wetlands as they sound today (with the dial turned to the left) and the wetlands as they will (hopefully) sound in 2050 (with the dial turned to the right).
