The British Council (along with Sound and Music) have offered me a bursary to help with the composition and performance of a new piece; my proposed alto recorder and tape piece should be finished in late 2011 and premiered by Erik Bosgraaf in Feb/March 2012. More to follow…

On Friday 26th November I attended a concert by Erik Bosgraaf (http://www.erikbosgraaf.com/) in which he performed Jet by Panayiotis Kokoras (http://www.panayiotiskokoras.com/en/bio.htm); the piece was excellent and the programme was both interesting and rewarding. Erik and I are planning to work on a mixed media piece (recorder/tape), due for completion in July 2011… more to follow…

Leeds Metropolitan University is hosting the 6th Art of Record Production conference (http://www.artofrecordproduction.com), 3rd – 5th December 2010. The conference will include a performance of the 60×60 project (magenta mix, featuring Minutiae – http://www.voxnovus.com/60×60/2010_Magenta_Mix.htm) and the 7th Echochroma concert, featuring works by Leeds Metropolitan Staff and students (http://www.leedsmet.ac.uk/inn_demo/research_echochroma_new_music_research.htm).

On Nov 2nd, Escapade was composed at City University, London, in a concert called: Exploring the Acousmatic Fabric of Space.
