Earlier this month, Baltazar’s Adventure through the Great Machine was performed at the Royal Academy of Music in Stockholm. The concert, organised by Henrik Frisk, took place in the 29.4-loudspeaker dome and featured pieces by James O’Callaghan, Annie Mahtani, Aleksandra Joanna Slyz, Linus Hillborg and Karl Johannes Jondell. Following my earlier post about Musica Nova in Prague – where I was very happy to be a finalist – my piece, Baltazar’s Adventure through the Great Machine, will be performed in concert on 10th Dec. I’m very happy to announce that I was, once again, a finalist in Musica Nova’s composition competition. My piece, Baltazar’s Adventure through the Great Machine, was finalist alongside Joao Pedro Olivera, with prizes and mentions going to Louise Rossiter, Giles Gobeil, and Alex Buck.
