I am extremely proud to have been one of the three organising members for Electroacoustic Music in Great Britain: past/present/future. The event, which took place in London on 26th/27th Jan, had around 100 people registered, including many of the world’s leading eletroacoustic composers/thinkers – such as Trevor Wishart, Denis Smalley, Jonty Harrison, Leigh Landy, Simon Emmerson, Nikos Stavropoulos, and many many more.

I helped to organise the event on behalf of the British ElectroAcoustic Network (BEAN). In a strange way, despite many activities overseas, this was the first UK outing of BEAN, hence the “launch” in the title of this post.
