Yesterday, I received news that my paper proposal has been accepted for the Music and Philosophy Study Group run by the Royal Musical Association. The group, which have a biannual conference, are meeting at Kings College, London, on 11th and 12th July. My abstract – a play on Roman Ingarden’s well-known book – is: The Work of Music – and the Problem with its Identity Crisis.
