Last week, I had the enormous pleasure of visiting the USA, where I gave various talks, concerts and workshops.

I started with a talk/concert at Stanford University, followed by three days in Santa Barbara – where I delivered a masterclass, lecture and concert. To end the visit, I travelled to the East coast, where I lectured at Harvard and NEC. It was a brilliant and amazing trip, during which I spend time with some outstanding composers and academics and some excellent composition students. I’m extremely grateful to Joao Pedro Olivera, John Malia, Constantin Basica, and Hans Tutschku for their kind hosting and reception!
