A few weeks ago, I travelled to the Dundalk Institute of Technology (DkIT) in Ireland. I was invited by Hilary Mullaney to present a selection of pieces composed at the University of Sheffield – I included works by Adrian Moore, Martin Curtis-Powell (a PhD student) and Chris Hobbs (an MA in Sonic Arts student). I also gave a masterclass on sound diffusion, focussing upon approaches to the interpretation and presentation of acousmatic works.
